Woe to the Defrauders
1 Woe to those who give less in measure and weight
2 Those who when they take from people take in full
3 But when they give by measure or weight to them they cause loss
4 Do they not think that they will be resurrected
5 For a tremendous day
6 The day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the worlds
The Fate of Wrongdoers
7 No indeed The record of the wicked is in Sijjin
8 And what can make you know what Sijjin is
9 A written record
10 Woe that Day to the deniers
11 Those who deny the Day of Judgment
12 And none denies it except every transgressor and sinner
13 When Our verses are recited to him he says Legends of the former peoples
14 No Rather what they used to earn has rusted their hearts
15 No indeed from their Lord that Day they will be partitioned
16 Then indeed they will burn in Hellfire
17 Then it will be said This is what you used to deny
The Bliss of the Virtuous
18 No indeed the record of the virtuous is in Illiyun
19 And what can make you know what Illiyun is
20 A written record
21 Witnessed by those brought near
22 Indeed the virtuous will be in bliss
23 On couches observing
24 You will recognize in their faces the radiance of bliss
25 They will be given to drink of a pure sealed wine
26 Its seal will be musk and for this let the competitors compete
27 And its mixture is of Tasnim
28 A spring from which those brought near will drink
The Derision of Disbelievers
29 Indeed those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed
30 And when they passed by them they would wink at one another
31 And when they returned to their people they would return jesting
32 And when they saw them they said Indeed these are truly astray
33 But they were not sent as guardians over them
34 So today those who believed are laughing at the disbelievers
35 On adorned couches observing
36 Have the disbelievers been rewarded for what they used to do
