The Day of Judgment
About what are they asking one another?
About the great news
That which they disagree about
No indeed They will come to know
Then again no They will come to know
Signs of God's Power in Creation
Have We not made the earth a resting place
And the mountains as stakes
And We created you in pairs
And We made your sleep for rest
And We made the night as a covering
And We made the day for livelihood
And We built above you seven strong
And We made a bright, blazing lamp
And We sent down from the rain clouds pouring water
That We may bring forth grain and plants
And gardens of dense growth
The Events of the Day of Judgment
Indeed the Day of Decision is an appointed time
The day the trumpet is blown and you come forth in crowds
And the sky is opened becoming gateways
And the mountains are moved becoming a mirage
The Fate of the Transgressors
Indeed, Hell is lying in wait
For the transgressors, a destination
They will remain in it for ages
They will not taste therein any coolness or drink
Except scalding water and bitter cold
An appropriate recompense
Indeed, they were not expecting an account
And denied Our verses with denial
But everything We have recorded in writing
So taste and We will not increase you except in torment
The Rewards for the Righteous
Indeed for the righteous is achievement
Gardens and grapevines
And full breasted companions of equal age
And a full cup
They will not hear therein any empty talk or lies
A reward from your Lord, a generous gift
The Day of Decision
From the Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Most Merciful. They do not possess from Him authority to speak.
The Day when the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct.
That is the True Day. So whoever wills, let him take a return to his Lord.
Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will see what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, I wish I were dust.
